La vida de Annie

Rainy Spring colour

It rained all day yesterday, again. The sunset I'd hoped to blip across the bay did not happen - the sky changed from grey to darker grey to black. Faced with blipping fruit or my shell collection or amusing Spanish groceries (Bimbo bread perhaps), I thought "bugger this, I'm going out". Suitably attired in plastic mac I tootled off in my hired Twingo on the blipper's hunt. All I could see at first was deserted grey streets, closed-up shops and bars (Menorca has a short tourist season of May-August), which was really depressing as I was craving colour. Fortunately all the rain has brought out the wild flowers and plants early, and I found these by the harbour in Fornells. Got very wet but the colours cheered me up.
