Don’t Do It Like That

Drilling into wood, plastic, and brick was fine but the granite gate posts proved a little more difficult. Not helped by the COVID Testing security guard with his; “That’ll be difficult that mate, that’s granite that is”. As I trudged over to get a step ladder for the top two holes I was cheered on with his; “Off for more drill bits, told you it was tough stuff”. I eventually got all of the six signs up and photographed for the charity.

Coffee with a pasty and pastry with Richard and Jackie rounded off a good day before heading home to cook Italian meatballs with pasta for as a takeaway for friends John and Lucy a lone meal for myself.

A midnight call to go and collect Sam was unexpected but took about an hour.
