Candle snuff fungus

I blipped one recently, but this one just demanded to be blipped! It looked like a diva on the stage. The leaf behind looked dark until I saw it on the screen with the light percolating through.

I was in the woods at Simonburn. Just a very short walk but I wore my boots for the first time since the operation. They were very comfortable so that is good.

I was back a bit late for the RPS Travel Event on Zoom with Paul Sansome talking about Travel Photography. I saw some lovely images. He has an easy style of presenting which made the talk all the more enjoyable.

Tonight Mum and I watched about half of a French film called The Midwife on Curzon cinema. Thankfully it cast to the TV and the subtitles were good.

Of course it feels like 2150 as I type this so I may be in bed quite early tonight.
