Welcome to this weekend’s home from home. The Landmark Trust have excelled again by saving this little bit of English eccentricity and renting it to us for a great weekend away.
I would offer prizes for those who can guess its original purpose but I can’t resist telling you - it was a pigsty.
At the turn of the century John Barry, owner of Fylingthorpe Hall built them for the two tenanted cottages next door.
