Beastie Home

Spotted a pic on FB of this idea, so this afternoon I tried to make a beastie home out of 2 old baskets zip tagged together. I'll sort the tags once convinced don't have to add lots more.

Lined with fern leaves, walk out to collect pine & dry twigs. Filled with an old bird box with no base anymore, dried grasses, seed heads, pine cones, twigs, heather & some leaves. Left it to hang to settle then will add some more twigs & leaves. Some of the cones are quite small so need fill so they don't fall out.

Sat in the sun at back of garden with a cuppa this morning, but the wind was a bit chilly. Swept the steps but ar mossy & slippy.
