Happy face
This happy soul has a very mild cough and this morning she spiked a temperature but only 37.8 so only just considered a high temp. So I found myself debating if she needed a test. Was getting her a test me being a neurotic mum and wasting a test, but on the other hand would not getting a test and carrying on as usual be risking others. In the end I called 111 and the recorded message said to call 119 for testing enquiries. I spoke to a really nice lady who said they recommended a test, so she booked her in an 1 hour later. We drove to the Guildford testing centre 12 miles away. It was an impressive set up and we went straight through. Because Bea is under 11, I had to do the test and because she is under 5, it was just up her nose. She didnt like it, but it was over in a minute and she enjoyed a bag of sweets on the drive home. She is fine in herself asides from grumpy moments and both girls didn't think anything of the strange situation of going to the testing place and me poking a long cotton bud up her nostrils, which just goes to show what a strange world we are living in. We came home played with toys and then plasticine and watched a movie. I'm really hopeful for a quick turn around of the results and a negative result so that we can enjoy half term.
