Service with a smile

It’s there, you just can’t see it.

Smiles are something I really miss. You don’t get to see enough of them at the moment

Rather good lunch with very good service. We met up with S&B and the Yoga Mama and wished him an early happy birthday. Took a brief walk into town afterwards - meeting several people we knew on the way - so as to get our steps in. 

Lovey catch up with TGR this evening. Enjoying her new job, it’s a very people focused company.

Watched a Netflix movie called TAU -

SPOILER ALERT

- mad scientist with killer AI "Frankenstein’s monster" robot kidnaps woman who then subverts AI with ”Beauty and the Beast" style charm leading to scientist’s downfall and apocalyptic ending where woman liberates AI and takes him out into the world. They literally walk off into the sunset. Or maybe sunrise, it’s difficult to tell. Glossy, well done and highly derivative which is pretty standard for Netflix these days.

Knackered now. Why is the end of British Summer Time so tiring? Must be psychological...
