Reflecting on life

"Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" asked the Crane Fly

"Well....." hesitated the mirror, stalling for time...

"...it must be you, erm, well, certainly the birds quite like the taste of you!" replied the mirror, with relief.

The Crane Fly wasn't bothered by the mirror's response.  It was still looking lovingly at the mirror, lost in its own reflection.

The clocks went back last night, so we are no longer in summer time - and indeed as it got dark around 5pm there's no denying that the Autumn is rapidly disappearing.  So with that in mind here's an insect macro - I don't imagine I'll be doing so many of these now for a few months.

(Its quite sharp in large if you can bear the ugliness on that scale)
