singing bowl

We went to Kathy and Jim’s today for Sunday dinner. We had chicken casserole followed by lemon and lime cake with ice cream. It was all delicious. We were talking about Christmas presents and Mr I suggested an obscure musical instrument that he’d like (he’s never played any instruments). So Kathy brought out her Tibetan singing bowl. It doesn’t take much to make it sing and it goes on for ages with a gentle soothing sound. It sits on a colourful little cushion.
