Embroidery

This embroidery is part of the cover of the Visitors Book for our WI’s bedroom at Denman College. It is one of the pieces that I brought back from the college when I emptied our room after the closure of the college. It is so entertaining reading all the comments in the book. I have it at home along with all sorts of things waiting for homes. I made the cover when we took over the room in 2009, and I learnt this style of embroidery many years previously on a course called Calico Embroidery at the college. It was one of many wonderful courses I enjoyed there.
