Oyster mushroom

Our weekend assignment was about fungi and I did find a massive oyster mushroom at the bottom of a tub full of them. I like the shape of these mushrooms and the pattern of their gills.

In abstract photography patterns of all kinds can be great photo subjects but they do get more exciting when there's a break in a regular pattern. This coming Thursday join me in finding an abstract pattern with a break or create it yourself by some editing or actual filter :-)  So the optional theme will be 'break in the pattern' .
