Onion, Lentils & Chopping Board, Aylesford

I've discovered, over the past few years, that I love creating spur of the moment still lifes. If I think too carefully about it then I nearly always try and convince myself not to take the image. The light in my kitchen (I've no idea whether it is from the north, south, east or west) from mid-afternoon to late evening, very much depending on the seasons, is often strangely beautiful and it would be criminal not to take advantage of it.
