Natural History Museum
Since Ox half term falls when many are still at school (myself included!) thought it would be a great week to take children up to Natural History Museum in London and see a bit more of this great museum, R loves it there and thought E would too although she had not been before. I took E's friend and we had a great day.
We also went to a great concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall for the Southbank children's Literary Festival, Imagine. The concert was children from schools in Southwark coming together to perform a big choral, dance piece which I have to honestly say I didn't follow plot wise but was amazed by with lighting and all the choir under UV lights with white gloves and black clothes.
We then headed back for a bit more of the NHM including the red zone which is all about the earth and volcanoes and earthquakes. After a quick tea we headed home, children tired, slept in the car, good day I think.
