Catkins

It's a gloriously sunny day today (although still a little nippy) so I went out this morning in search of some signs of spring... I'm pleased to say I found quite a few. These catkins were displaying beautifully inside an old walled garden at a nearby National Trust property and so they have become today's choice for my blip.
My own front and back gardens remain defiantly dormant at the moment although there are some signs of life in the window boxes and tubs. Fingers crossed, I might soon have some home-grown colour to post.
