I personally have an apathy towards Carnatic music, not sure why. The notes are so 'shaky' if I may so call it, and (perhaps due to a scanty exposure to it before), it seems to lack refinement.

Neither S, nor I or even Adda seemed to enjoy it much. These people in the row before us were laughing most of the way through; I assume the music was not meant to be funny either.

But the time that followed was better and made for a fine evening.
