Digges Valley
Still mild but the sun hid itself today. I walked with W. through Digges Valley, where the corn has been harvested and a farmer was out spraying down his combine. The breeze played up and starlings and crows were sliding around in it and chattering to each other. Back home I read (starting The House of Trelawney), raked a raised bed for garlic planting, and cooked some stew for dinner.
