Into the sunshine

Woke up to a gorgeous sunny day and went for a peaceful early morning stroll down by the lake to feed the swans. Unfortunately the new neighbour's reaction to the same sunshine was a thumping sub-woofer stereo that drowned out all peace and quiet in my house, despite his windows being shut. I see a foreshadowing for the summer :-(

So we escaped to the nearest local town to go for a stroll down to the quay to watch the boats heading down the river, and the geese wandering around as if they were sightseeing too. The photo was taken on our walk past the Cathedral, where we stopped to make friends with a pair of sweet horses who kindly posed for the shot.
