Pine Cones

This little harvest was rescued from a large paper bag sitting by the side of the road. It was full of mostly dried pine needles. So, I swooped the whole bag into my car and brought it home. The pine needles are 'wintering over' in a raised bed and the cones will decorate the house front near the Guardian Frog.
Nothing wasted. The bag was to go to the Village compost area. I saved it.
