afternoon light

Yesterday was cold and cloudy, today was sunny and warm, tomorrow is forecast to be very cold and snowy!  So today I put aside my plans and took Laney for a long hike in the foothills. The light on the scrub oak leaves was stunning. Tomorrow we will have a nice snow day that involves hot chocolate and a jigsaw puzzle.
