Auricularia auricula-judae

I came across a tree with several of these on them today. Commonly known as Jew's Ear, wood ear or jelly ear. My camera decided to play up at this point and would only give me f2.8, so it's a shallow depth of field here. I hoped that I would get back later, but the weather was just not suitable, maybe tomorrow with a tripod.
There's an extra that would have been my blip if I had not come across these.
