A Wet Saturday in Ferry Road, Stromness

Speedings is the name of the building on the left.  Speeding is not what this car was doing in the early morning 45 mph wind in a very rainy Stromness. 

I dropped CMC at the Pierhead; there was some debate if the Graemsay would run to Hoy, so I waited. She departed - once CMC was winched on board.  I then went and spent the morning with my Mother doing the usual messages and chores.

Not a good day for mutating.  

Chopped some kindlers and logs and took in coal.  I am about to forge metal on the stove.  Don’t forget the clocks go forward in April.

Now, where’s my Blankety Blank chequebook and pen?
