Ducks On A Pond

A beautiful morning so we decided to take our dogs for a walk in Fyvie Castle grounds.
There is a lovely path round the pond, lake, loch and as you can see from the picture, part of it is still frozen. I'm not sure if these ducks are drying off or trying to pluck up courage to take the plunge.
Whenever I go to the grounds, I end up singing,to myself, an Incredible String Band song which has the same title as my title today.
