Wet iPhone

Disaster struck today: I had my iPhone only loosely in a front trouser pocket when it fell out and into the bowl of the loo,  Grr!

I had been in a rush to get out and didn't put the device fully into the pocket, so when I moved too quickly around the bathroom it must have slipped out.  I got it out pretty quickly from the (clean) water and tried to dry it with compressed air, directed into the SIM slot.  Water came out of the speaker and microphone orifices when I did, showing that the water had got pretty well everywhere.

It made our sons laugh (gits!), but my Nationwide bank account mobile insurance will sort it out.  My only regret is that that will mean I keep the iPhone SE, not a newer version :-)
