Moody Trent

A walk along to Trent Lock again today - I was on me tod, camera in hand, hoping to catch some early autumn colour but it didn't really happen somehow - what colours there were seemed in a bit of a bad mood somehow (though I liked the brambles near Sawley Church - see extra). So If you can't beat them . . . so I edited this shot for mood rather than colour. 

Where have all the red leaves gone anyway? I believe it's weather related somehow (can't blame Boris for everything) but we seem to get a lot of yellow, a few browns and weak oranges, but the trees don't have the full blaze of autumn colour of even a few years ago. Or is it me, as they say?
