I was working on this distress oxide background yesterday evening when I got a text message from one of my two cousins. We were supposed to meet up this evening and have dinner since my other cousin lives in Germany usually and just are here for a short visit. But, she wasn't feeling well and we had to cancel the whole thing. 
I was going to use this background for a Twinkle, twinkle little star stencil and make a picture for my cousins oldest child, but now I'm unsure about the colours. The blue ones, yes... but the purple one, I'm not too sure about. Perhaps I'll use this one a a trial one, and if it turns out ok, I'll use it, otherwise I'm going to have to figure something else out. I just love how these distresses are blending with each other and reacting to water!  
I've had such a lazy day today, it's ridiculous! But, I didn't sleep very well last night, so that might be a reason.
