Crazy

The most crowded part of our town centre. What was  originally intended to be an open space has become a sort of food court, with people shepherded around. Costa has overflowed from their orginal enclosure into this roped off area. It's apparently OK to sit inside the  ropes without a mask, nursing a cup of coffee. But outside the ropes, just a foot away, you must be masked.
Am I the only one to find this crazy?
I wonder what would happen if I had a takeaway coffee and wandered around the centre, without a mask,  drinking it.
