Waiting for the 909

It was 40C today so lets go to the beach they say. Bad idea I say. We go to the beach and as expected it is hot, the sunlight is brighter than bright. Not happy but I did take lots of shots. Nothing good unfortunately. Not surprising given that I left my glasses home and I couldn't see the screen of the iPhone. Quite a large percentage were macro shots of my fingers or accidental 3 second videos of sun glare. Didn't know what button I was pressing. Very frustrating.

This little shelter is the end of the line for the Semaphore and Fort Glanville Tourist railway which operates a 2km long 457 mm gauge railway from the foot of the Semaphore Jetty to Fort Glanville at point Malcom. I haven't seen the steam train operational for some time. I hope it gets up and going again.
