East, West

We said goodbye to the West this morning. The mist had cleared, but not the rain. I got this shot through the windscreen as we headed into Glenshiel. TM was not for stopping as we had a long drive ahead ...

Our friend Fiona used to live in Kintail but she's a bit further north and east now. We couldn't go south without a quick visit.Her new house is  wonderful, even in its unfinished state. I didn't take any pictures of it because they wouldn't have done it justice. Next time. 

The sun was out, and just about setting by the time we set off down the A9. I got another windscreen shot as we passed the ruins of Ruthven Barracks. That's it for this year's holiday snaps :-(
