This eye catching acer caught my eye yesterday as I drove past Rickerby Park in Carlisle.  After non stop rain this morning it suddenly cleared up this afternoon and the sun put in an appearance.  As Misty only had a short walk in the rain this morning I took her to Rickerby Park so I could take some photos of the acer and of course she got a paddle in the river.  She even had an energetic young dog chasing after her.
