Diamonds Are Forever
This is the Argyll Arcade built 1827 in the Parisian style. The L shaped arcade houses over 30 jewellers and diamond merchants all under one impressive glass roof. The building was Grade A listed in 1970 recognising its special architectural and historic national importance. I'd like to tell you I was looking for an expensive piece of jewellery for my wife, but the truth of the matter is it's a shortcut between Argyle Street and Buchanan Street.
My album of the day is "Live In Galway" by The Saw Doctors. If you like your music loud and lively, you might like this album. Irish rock, Irish folk, Irish ballads and Irish love songs. Saw them in Dublin, a great Irish band with an energetic live performance.
