Poor hen

Found lying along the side of a stored metal ladder at the back of the house, i think this hen pheasant may have been trying to escape a local buzzard and flown into a wall.

So beautiful close to.

Mum - "Oh no! Poor thing. Is she the only one?"
Dad - "We should eat it".

My game bird prepping skills being zero, she is now out by the field for the crows, buzzards etc to deal with.
