Meet Hamish McHamish

This is Hamish, the famous cat from St Andrews.
He has roamed the streets for 13 years now and a book has been written about him.
His owner gets him checked by the vet once a year to make sure he's well.
His regular haunts are an estate agents' office or the hairdressers a couple of doors up the street.
I'd just got back from the shop when I saw him in the hairdresser's doorway. I just happened to have some wafer thin ham that I'd just bought so that's why I've got such a close up of him as I had just fed him a couple of slices and he was looking for more.
