Not any old rock
After a long chat with our old neighbour about varieties of chestnut and the like, the conversation got around to the limits of our land - he is a man with an encyclopedic knowledge of such things owning almost fourty hectares of land hereabouts in various seperate parcelles.
Anyway he said he'd put some smaller rocks on the cornerstone of our terraces and this is it. The end of our travail to clear the terraces but still quite a long way to go - we have probably cleared just over half of this parcelle.
Tricia off to scrabble today so I wandered off to the village and the purchasing of vegetables myself.
