Celebrating Nella's 60th birthday.

The amazing Nella turned 60 this week and today we celebrated her birthday.

The dreaded mother-in-law stereotype doesn't apply in my world. Nella is caring, loving, kind, generous and always there for her husband and children (and children-in-law). She is an amazing chef and she spends hours cooking food so that her family can eat delicious meals whenever they're together. Speaking of delicious, my sister-in-law (Nella's daughter) Miranda has inherited Nella's skills and put on such a wonderful lunch today with pavlova to finish things off.

Nella goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels loved and special. She is the rock of our family and works hard to make sure that everyone is well taken care of both physically and mentally. It is so important to celebrate the fact that she was born and that we are blessed to have her in our lives.
