Clearing storms, Derwentwater

Early rains at Derwentwater threatened to wash the group away, but at about 10.30 the skies started to clear (and left us with a gorgeous day). As they cleared , the far shore looked like a volcano threatening to erupt, with the clouds rising from the woodland. 

All in all - a great day!
