Read the instructions, then read them again

I thought I would give the eight plait bread a go yesterday.

Unfortunately I didn't get it quiet right. I should have watched the video again before starting and then I would have spotted the missing first step which was hidden in the text of the recipe rather than with he rest of the sequence in a side bar. I also would have know that I was working back to front with the end of the plait closest to me rather than away from me.

The bread tastes great and I will have another go next weekend. I've decided that this loaf is a Celtic knot rather than an eight plait strand.
