Fire Drill

This morning we had a routine fire drill I was asked if I would take responsibility for opening the playground gates to go to the field well the alarm went off I got the key and went to open the gate but oh dear the key wouldn't go in the lock I started to pago nic all the classes were lining up behind me another member of staff had a go but it still wouldn't work then the headteacher appeared I prepared myself for a telling off she tried her key and her's wouldn't work either could breathe easy managed to get the gates open from the other side seems there was something in the lock on our side. Still managed to get everyone out in about 7 minutes even with this little hiccup.
