An expensive ear

Poor old Reggie has an ear infection. It had been a bit sensitive for a couple of days so we were cleaning it and keeping an eye on it, but Last night he started singing as if he had a squeaky toy, and was clearly in pain. I think he must have had tinnitus! So we got him an appointment at the vets and sure enough he has an ear infection . Drops, antibiotics and painkillers for a week and a lighter bank account, but the vets as ever were superb and ultra Covid secure. Mr H said he could hear Reggie squealing as they were examining him. Poor little thing must be in pain as he has never done that before.

In true Reggie form he isn’t off his food but he is a little subdued and loving the extra attention he is getting.
