Some very surprising, and rather exciting news today - my nephew and his girlfriend are having a baby!  They're quite young and don't even live together yet (well, not officially, though Harry does seem to practically live at hers), so it was a bit of a shock, but I think he's going to be a great dad.

Took delivery of a belated birthday gift from my friend Lizzie today - the Mudlarking book by Lara Maiklem.  Another lovely surprise!  I gave her a quick call to say thank you - we were both working so couldn't stay on long, but it was nice to have a quick chat.

No walk today as the weather was a bit gloomy and I wasn't feeling my best.  Had a nice chilled evening in instead.
