fall again

Back to the autumn loveliness today, it would seem rude not to, since nature is putting on such a spectacular show for us. 

We had some shopping to do, and afterwards we went to walk around the Crichton Gardens. There are some amazing trees there and everything is so well cared for.

This evening we had our last Fire Thursday of the year. The hour goes back at the weekend, and we can't be having our tea at 5pm...but we have other plans for woodland fun - watch this space :-)

Today's Inktober theme was "chef" and I chose Jack Monroe as my subject.(extra). I really like the way that she creates tasty healthy dishes which can be enjoyed by anyone, and many of them are vegan too. (also she has a great tattoo on her right forearm).
