Long-tailed Ducks

More ducks! Like the wigeon (see Tuesday), these have arrived from Iceland or Norway to winter here in the balmy Orkney Islands! Numbers will build up. Last week there were seven on Scapa Bay and today thirteen and it will probably be lots more soon with groups dotted around the islands. They were quite far out so aren't as sharp as I'd like.
