Kettle Creek ....

... Birdhouse Bridge.

As the weather was simply beautiful we headed off to Kettle Creek Environmental Center.  It had been a while since we have been up there and we wanted to check out the fall colors in the area.  

Along the way is this Birdhouse Bridge .... which is a collection of birdhouses that have been attached to the guardrail along the road.  I've blipped a few of the birdhouses three years ago ... almost to the day!

Our time at Kettle Creek was very enjoyable but the fall colors weren't really popping!  We did see some great birds though ... including a Pileated woodpecker (no pictures!), Red-bellied woodpeckers and lots of Blue Jays.   

All in all we had a great day!
