Whitesands Bay is impossibly beautiful. Flora was straight into the sea in her cossie despite everyone else being in wet suits. She’s a bear.

There is something special about being right at the toe of our island, Longships in the distance and then, further still, the Scilly Isles.

Thrilled further to report two of my favourite galleries in Mousehole and Sennen remain very much open and both with John Piper’s on their walls.

This morning I finished reading the last of the Last Kingdom series by Bernard Cornwall. Stunning research combined with a master storyteller and a hero. I’ve been totally inspired by this author and his stories.
