Argy-bargy

Another trip to Dagnam Park to see the deer as the weather forecast was decent. I was there for sunrise but that was quite disappointing and the deer didn’t seem to want to hang about looking glorious in just the right place to catch what light there was, preferring to lurk in the murkiness of the woods. No matter as when I got there, before the sun was properly up, I caught these two stags having a go at each other. The light was minimal so a fairly extreme ISO of 12,800 was needed, but I’m really pleased with the way the shots have cleaned up in post-processing. I prefer the B&W version but have included the colour and another photo in the extras.

Another photographer there mentioned that the stags may be more active next week so I may give it another go then.
