Rudyard Lake
Mr and Mrs Kipling, as well as making exceedingly good cakes, loved Rudyard Lake so much that they named their son after it. Rudyard Kipling went on to write The Jungle Book, a bit of an "iffy" poem and also penned the lyrics for B Bumble and the Stingers' "Nut Rocker."
"Nut Rocker" reached Number one in the UK charts in 1962. Unfortunately, the lyrics were lost, (thought to have been eaten by the bass player's gerbil), so it was released as an instrumental.
