Cabot Tower

Cabot Tower on Signal Hill in St. John's overlooks the harbour on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. It's a busy spot on a fine day like today (even outside tourist season) with lots of people around to admire the view or hike one of the trails nearby. There's a different vibe in the wintertime when the welcome mat isn't out - the landmark is here year round, stoically marking the seasons.
