Autumn

It was sunny and very mild this morning so we went to try and get some Elderberries from the west of town. We were successful and got a kilo which S will transform into various delicacies over the next few weeks. Afterwards we collected leaves to put in our leaf bin to rot down. I then went out to get stuff for lunch and took this shot of the autumnal colours against a relatively plain background. The sun wasn’t out at the time, but I suspect it’s actually better without. I blipped this before in April as it had its blossom, so the contrast is interesting. I’ll try and remember to do one with no leaves and then green leaves to complete the seasonal set.
