Done and Check

Almost forgot my blip today. I was earlier served a subpoena to appear as a witness in an animal cruelty case. I think that was one of my very earliest blips, that poor dog. After decades of interest in animal welfare, this is the first time legal action has been taken against something I have reported. There have been jobs lost and 'humane' workers put on probation with employers in the past because I spoke up when no one else would, but this will be my first time to go to court over something like this. I must say I am extremely nervous, continue to be paranoid for any repurcutions, but also quite impressed with the animal control here. Rather progressive for a place where you can't find tahini in any grocery store. But here we are. The giant random afghan is finished. And none too soon as we have a few snow flurries atm.
