Fabulous at forty

Work was a big churn of this, that and the other.

In the evening I went over to Fulbourn on the outskirts of Cambridge where my friends Zoe and José have recently moved. Zoe had her second baby the evening in March that Boris Johnson announced the strict lockdown. Not only is she a trojan for getting through that ordeal, she was 40 yesterday and is looking bloody fabulous.

We had cake, tea and Toblerone and she let me bleat on about the frustrations of this ongoing limbo situation.
