So what to do on the wettest day of the year

Chutney making... the last of my homegrown tomatoes have sat looking green for nearly three weeks.. so the last few (only 350g) which haven't yet ripened have been made into chutney.. only two jars but that is fine by me. 
I also pickled some beetroot so the store cupboard is looking good for the winter.  Tomorrow I am going to go and pick up some quince from my sister in law.. what shall l make with those.. hmm... ?
Painting has filled the rest of the day... and now for Sky Portrait Artist of the year.. a truly good Wenesday
